MoreBunt’s Project Manager-In-Training Program
A well-deserved congratulations to Bunt’s Brandin McMillan and Daniel Blischak who recently completed Bunt’s in-house Project Manager-In-Training (PMiT) Program.
Bunt’s PMiT Program is designed to provide up-and-coming Project Managers with the skills and experience needed to become effective Project Managers. What does it involve? Well, over the course of 6-12 months, our program provides internal learning sessions and coaching from senior staff, 1:1 check ins, and intentional project assignment aimed at developing the necessary technical and soft skills for project management.
A big shoutout to James Lee who has been leading the program incredibly well since its launch in 2020.
“As we no longer live in an era of handshake deals and verbal contracts, it’s now more important than ever to provide our emerging Project Managers with the skills and knowledge to minimize risk and maximize project efficiency. We developed this program to not only provide these attributes, but to also help our Project Managers develop their essential soft skills such as client management, task delegation, and conflict resolution.” – James
Here’s what this years cohort have to say about it:
“Thank you James for leading the 2024 PMiT program cohort, organizing training sessions, and flying to Calgary to attend our final presentations! The lessons learned along the way will be invaluable as I continue to manage projects at Bunt.” – Brandin
“I gained invaluable experience working through the Bunt PMiT program. Completion of the program has set me up for success as a project manager and helped me become a better transportation engineer. I would like to thank all who were involved in the program’s implementation and administration.” – Daniel
We’re excited to see Brandin and Daniel grow and develop even further with Bunt!
