Ezekiel Dada shifting into retirement after a long and successful career
After more than 22 years with Bunt & Associates in Calgary, having held a variety of senior positions including Corporate Vice President, Board Member, Southern Alberta/Saskatchewan Regional Manager, as well as being a Technical Expert, Mentor and All-Round Nice Guy; Dr. Ezekiel Dada, Ph.D., P.Eng., will be hanging up his spurs on November 29th and shifting into retirement.
To say that Ezekiel has been a pillar of strength within Bunt, and particularly within the Calgary office, would be an understatement. When we started the Calgary office in 2001 we knew that we needed strong, dedicated and eclectic people to help build something enduring and respected. Working here requires a blend of amicability, technical competence, integrity, and the ability to smile under just about any circumstance. Ezekiel embodies those skills by the bucketful, and his decision to join the firm in 2004 was among the best things that has ever happened to the Calgary office. He helped incubate and grow the office, and his demeanor coupled with his extremely strong technical skillset and mentoring skills made him an effective and popular figure throughout the firm and throughout the industry. Once you have met Ezekiel it is impossible to forget him.
Although the buzzword in this announcement is “Retirement”, it is really more of a downshift and less of a full stop. Ezekiel will be continuing with Bunt as a Senior Consultant, advising on projects and providing insight and input as/when required, on his terms. There is so much knowledge trapped inside his head that there isn’t a magnet in the world strong enough to suck it all out, and so we are thrilled that Ezekiel will continue to be able to work with us, though he will no longer be client or public facing in project roles.
Please join us in congratulating Ezekiel on a long and very successful career. Bunt is who, what and where we are in part due to Ezekiel’s inputs and influences, and we are extremely grateful to have had him on our team.
