World Day for Safety and Health at Work (April 28) is a global initiative to recognize the importance of creating safe and healthy work environments for all employees, ensuring that occupational accidents are significantly decreased.

Not only is workplace safety and health essential for the prevention of accidents at work, but it is fundamental right, too. Having ongoing conversations and training surrounding this topic is important, while understanding that employers and employees alike are responsible for upholding workplace safety and health practices.
