30 Years of Shaping Communities

This year marks the 30^th anniversary of Bunt & Associates. Over the past three decades, Bunt has played a critical role in shaping the transportation landscape across Western Canada, working on projects ranging from regional highway and urban corridor projects to community-focused active transportation plans. Let us take this opportunity to reflect on where we started and where we are going on this journey.

Our story began in 1993 when Paul Bunt, Peter Joyce, and Glen Pardoe established Bunt & Associates in Vancouver. From a small office with an abundance of entrepreneurial spirit, we expanded to gradually add offices in Victoria (1998), Calgary (2001), Edmonton (2002), and Kelowna (2022). Today, over 50 of the finest transportation planners, engineers, technologists, and support staff work together to deliver quality projects and exceptional service to our clients, assisting in addressing urban and rural transportation planning and engineering challenges.  Thanks to the trust and support of clients in both the public and private sectors, Bunt has grown to become one of the most respected transportation consulting firms in the industry.

Thirty years in business is an incredible milestone for us, but we are even more excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. As we maintain our entrepreneurial spirit, we will keep abreast of the constantly evolving transportation world, and continue to provide our clients with innovative solutions and exceptional service in shaping communities.
