MoreSafe Streets for Seniors
Bunt & Associates thanks the City of New Westminster and UBC’s School of Community and Regional Planning (SCARP) for partnering with us to investigate road and sidewalk risks to seniors. Kicking off this month, the Safe Streets for Seniors study is a SCARP student planning studio hosted by the City and jointly managed by Bunt & Associates’ *bconnected initiative. This is a long-overdue look at how mobility risks to this growing segment of the population can be mitigated through planning, engineering, and design. Please contact Dan Ross of our Vancouver office to learn more about this project.
*bconnected is an innovation and outreach initiative inspired by Bunt staff – for Bunt staff who are passionate about contributing knowledge, expertise, and time to drive positivity throughout communities world-wide.
